More felt.....more rosettes! Addiction is an understatement, but it's great because there are so many possibilities!

So today you get 2 for 1.....two crafts in one post! Woo hoo!

First project:

I am in love! They are so cute, and they will add a fun pop of color....

especially with Spring coming!

Another adorable accessory that I will wear all the time!

You should give these accesories a try, they are so easy and so fun!

Oh and by the way.....this is the glue that I used for both of the projects!

{Happy Birthday....}

Today is the birthday of my baby Jack! He is only a year old, but it has been a fun & interesting year! Surprisingly enough, this little dog has taught me a lot about life, loyalty & patience! It never fails to amaze me how loyal and faithful dogs are, and how they can teach us lessons, even though they can't even talk!!

Okay, enough rambling.....just wanted to share with you this special little occasion!

{Flower pin}

Well I told you I was starting a new obsession with fabric flowers........

This one is obviously a pin, but this one I tried a different method which you might have seen before............

You melt the edges of your fabric in a flame and the edges begin to curl and after you layer a few different size circles you end up with this lovely little flower!

{oh by the way......don't try to melt just any type of fabric.....it has to be a silky material or else it will start on fire......and yes, I am speaking from experience!}

I also wanted to show you the t-shirt I had on in the picture, because it is one of my favorites!

If you have never heard of them, they are called Bee-tees {here is their website}, and each t-shirt design has a inspiring saying on it:

Aren't they adorable? I would love to have every single one!

They are not only great reminders for me, but for everyone who sees me!

Hope you will give the flower a try, it really is a beautiful result especially with some little beads in the center and some cute leaves!

{Flower Headband}

Headbands are really popular right now, but I am really trying to save money right now! Just look at these beautiful head bands that I gained some inspiration from:

So, after deciding that a headband from Anthropologie that cost $32.00 was just WAY to much......

I created my own!

This fabric has been in our craft room and I have just been in love with it, but not quite sure

how to use it!

I don't normally wear headbands, especially not ones with delicate little flowers on them, so this was a slight step out of my fashion comfort zone to wear this, but hey, everyone needs a little something different now and then!

{Rosette Necklace}

It seems like I haven't posted in so long, but I guess part of the explanation why can be found on my mom's blog! Yeah so, that has kept me pretty busy, but I have managed to squeeze in some crafting time (of course)!

I have seen this style necklace a lot (here)and there have been many versions I have seen on various blogs (here & here) I thought they were all SO cute, so I really wanted to try it myself.

It really was very simple and comparing my price (free) to buying it online ($$$)....I was pretty pleased!

I am already working on another one, but this one incorporates different patterns of fabric. But for some reason it also has brown. I can't seem to get away from brown!

There are two more projects as well that I have coming up, both of which are different variations of fabric flowers (I sense............a new obsession!).
